Government emergency agencies, voluntary groups and non-government organisations have been called upon to come to the aid of the victims of Zango Urban by providing relief materials and help in rehabilitating them.
The call was made through a press statement by the National Chairman of Zango Urban development Association Shehu Aminu Abdullahi following the recent attack of the community by some suspected militia.
The association also appealed to Kaduna state government to ensure the arrest and prosecution of those behind the attack on Zango Urban Town and bring them to justice to serve as deterrence.
It added as a matter of urgency the government should publish, implement and enforce the state executive councils already approved and released white papers on reports of Rahila Cudjoe Commission of Enquiry and the Air Vice Marshal Usman Muazu peace and reconciliation committee, noting that non-implementation of these reports is the bases of crises and provocation.
