Former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has been sworn in as the governor of Anambra State.


Soludo was sworn in at the State Government House on Thursday
alongside his deputy, Onyeka Ibezim.


The former CBN governor was elected on the platform of the All
Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.


Soludo won the Anambra governorship election with 112,229 votes in
2021.


He takes over from Willie Obiano whose eight-year tenure elapsed on
Thursday.


In his inaugural speech, Soludo promised to hit the ground running,
saying some key members of his government will be announced in a few
hours.
