The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC is set to commence third phase of its Constituency and Executive Projects tracking exercise.
Spokesperson for the agency Azuka Ogugua in a statement in Abuja, said the tracking of constituency and executive projects was an initiative of the Commission that began in 2019. According to her, the exercise focused on how well money allocated to critical sectors of education, health, agriculture, water resources and power, amongst others, by the government were utilised.
Ogugua noted that the exercise led to the revelation that some projects were, however, excellently and completely executed.
He added that the Commission is following up the first two phases of the tracking with community sensitization and enlightenment programs, receipt and handling of enquiries.
