Troops of Nigerian Army has rescued another Chibok school girl, Saratu Dauda, kidnapped with others at Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno state, in April 2014.

Theatre Commander, North-East Joint ‘Operation Hadin Kai’, Major-General, Ibrahim Ali, made this known while briefing newsmen at the Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri.

He added that Saratu was rescued by troops of the 21 Armoured Brigade during a clearance operation at Ukuba in Sambisa Forest in Bama local government area of Borno State.

The Theatre Commander also recalled the recent presentation of two other Chibok girls rescued by the troops. He commended the support of the Borno State government and assured the people of the North-East of the commitment of the military to contain the insurgency in the region.
