Kidnappers of the wife and two daughters of a lecturer with the Federal College of Education, Technical Gusau in Zamfara State, Abdurrazak Muazu have demanded 50 million naira ransom.
A family member told journalists that the bandits called and demanded for 100 million naira, but later reduced the amount to 50 million naira. The source also explained that mediation is still ongoing, stressing that the amount was outrageous.
It would be recalled that bandits, last Friday, kidnapped the wife and two daughters of a lecturer with the Federal College of Education Technical in Zamfara.
The wife, Binta, and the two daughters, Maryam and Hafsat Abdurrazak were kidnapped in their house, in Mareri Village on the outskirts of Gusau Town, at about 1:00am on Friday.
