The Northern Elders Forum, NEF says region is in the process of rebuilding itself and is not prepared to play second fiddle in a nation where it enjoys geometric strength.
Director of Publicity and Advocacy of the Forum Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, made this known while delivering a keynote address at the maiden Maitama Sule Lecture Series organized by the students’ wing of the Coalition of Northern Groups, in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna state.
He also noted that north will lead Nigeria the way it have led Nigeria before whether President or Vice President, the region will lead Nigeria.
The Forum’s Spokesman explained that if the majority of Nigeria electorate vote for a candidate from the North and he becomes the President and somebody does not want to live under the Nigeria President, the person can leave.
