2022 World Cup: Coach Rohr No Pressure On Eagles

Coach Gernot Rohr is optimistic that Super Eagles will grab all three points against the Sharks of Cape Verde, today, just as they did when both teams met at the on the island of Mindelo on 7th September.

The match is the Coach’s 54th game for the Nigeria senior men’s team.

He also said it is important to win so as to be sure of where the team will be at the end of the day, noted that the three time African champion is however on top of the table.

Similarly, Captain Ahmed Musa has assured that the Eagles will not take their opponents for granted noting that they are matured, professional and ambitious enough to deal with any pressure. This is coming ahead of the Eagles clash against Sharks of Cape Verde in today’s ultimate game of Group-C of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying African series,

Nigeria’s record international caps’ holder, at a pre-match press conference said the big motivation to go all out for the encounter is that a number of players in the squad are yet to feature at the FIFA World Cup finals.
