Super Eagles players are expected to receive 10,000 dollars each for beaten Egypt and Sudan at th2021 AFCON: Eagles Gets $10,000 Each For Egypt, Sudan Winse ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
This is coming after the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and the Eagles agreed before the commencement of the game in Garuoa over the mode of payment for wins and draws at the competition.
It was gathered that the Nigerian side is expected to receive the sum of 5000 dollars for a win and 2,500 dollars for a draw following the meeting, adding that the players and officials would be paid their bonuses in full after they qualified from the group stage of the competition.
It would be recalled that the Eagles defeated the Falcons of Jediane 3-1 at the Stade Roumdé Adjia to advance to the round of 16 of the competition, with goals from Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi and Moses Simon securing their spot.
Nigeria is leading Group-D with six points and has qualified for the Round of 16 with a game left to play. Egypt is second while Guinea Bissau and Sudan occupy second and third spots.
