Coach Gernot Rohr has demanded that Nigeria Football Federation, NFF should pay him 60,000 dollars bonus for qualifying the country for the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon and reminded the federation of his four months’ salary.
He is asking for another bonus when he qualifies the Super Eagles to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as stated in his contract, which is expected to end in December 2022.
It was gathered that Rohr’s current contract stated that he should be paid in the local currency and reports have suggested he has often encountered difficulties converting his entitlements to Euros and shipping them to Europe, where he resides.
He is on a monthly salary of 45,000 dollars approximately about 25 million naira.
