A former Green Eagles player, Fatai Yekini has expressed confidence that with the right inspiration, the Super Eagles will emerge victorious at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The three time African champions are highly favoured to progress from the group B where they are to fight for one of the group tickets with Burundi, Madagascar and Guinea.
The former captain of the Green Eagles who is presently a coach in Gee-Lec Football Academy Jos said with the right motivation, the Super Eagles would win their fourth AFCON title in Egypt.
He said Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr should make good use of the many talents at his disposal just as he pleaded with the football federation to give the tactician the freedom to choose his players.
Yikini charged the Coach should work more on mental and physical fitness of his players in order to get the best out of them. He said the chances of the Super Eagles in Egypt are quite bright but they need sufficient motivation from the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and their coach.
