Fighting Crimes:  Police Arrest 62 Suspected In 2 Weeks In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested no fewer than sixty two criminal suspects in two weeks.

The State’s Commissioner of Police Ali Janga announced this at a news briefing at the command Headquarters, Kaduna.

Janja said that the command continued to intensify a furious manhunt on bandits and other criminals across the Command through some carefully planned strategic operations including ‘Operation Puff Adder’

He said that the operation was launched by the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar .

He added that the command has recorded some successes within the past two weeks with the arrest of sixty two suspects on different crimes and belonging to different suspected criminal gangs that terrorize citizens of the State.

He identified the nature of the crimes to include: criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, car snatching and Illegal possession of live ammunition, and  rape among others.
