The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadiq Abubakar, says the Nigerian Air Force will consistently adopt innovative operation standards in overcoming current security challenges in the country.

Abubakar said this on Monday during the inauguration of a centre named after him at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna State.

Abubakar Sadiq centre located within the Department of Air Warfare of the collage, consists of an electronic examination hall for 56 students, a unique hall of fame, library, lounge, offices and conference room.

The Air Chief, represented by NAF Chief of Policy and Plans, AVM Emmanuel Anebi, noted that military history is replete with examples that buttressed the fact that effective command, staff and leadership training play very vital roles in the success of military operations including air operations.

Abubakar stressed that the three cardinal points of his administration remained the promotion of “professionalism through capacity building, improving capabilities and welfare.”
