The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has pleaded with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritise tackling insecurity, economic struggles and find lasting solutions that will improve the livelihoods of the citizens.
CAN President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, in a congratulatory message on behalf of the Christian community to Tinubu for the success of his inauguration, described the inauguration as a significant occasion for Nigeria and wished him well as he takes on the responsibilities of leading the country.
He also stressed that Nigeria is facing many challenges that require strong and decisive leadership from the new administration, adding that there is much work to be done in order to ensure that Nigeria can reach its full potential.
The Archbishop said the association believe that as Tinubu engages the active participation of all citizens regardless of their political, ethnic, and religious leanings, Nigeria can overcome all obstacles to emerge stronger than ever.
