Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Sani Gwarzo and that of Foreign Affairs, Janet Olisa, made this known in an issued joint press statement.

It added that authorities are currently making plans to evacuate all stranded citizens through the identified safe transit areas back home.

The statement however, urged parents to caution their wards against taking dangerous routes, as the Government is working assiduously to ensure their safe return to Nigeria.

The Government also expressed worry over the humanitarian crisis occasioned by the on-going conflict which broke out between the Sudanese Army and the Para-military Rapid Support Forces.
