Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Mahmood Yakubu, has said that the commission is ready for the November 6th governorship election in Anambra.
He said this at a meeting with the Joint National Assembly Committee INEC and Electoral Matters to engage with the commission over the forthcoming election in Abuja on Wednesday.
On the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards in Anambra, he said, they have a little over 81,000 valid registrants.
In his remarks, Chairman of the Joint Committee, Kabiru Gaya, while noting the effort of security agencies said their effort and commitment to the protection of the lives and property of Nigerians was priceless and highly appreciated.
