Liberty News Correspondent, Abdull-Azeez Ahmed Kadir reports that speaking at the event holding in Zaria, Co-Chair of Open Government Partnership, Hadiza Umar said the media is part and parcel of partnership, engage, reform and learn, have a seamless relationship with, take advantage to identify, disseminate Challenges on girl education.

The Chief Executive of Kaduna Open Radio, Joshua James said the Open Government Development Partnership OGDP has led to holding the government accountable on education and health, hence, the media must not rest on its oars in asking questions.

PERL resource person, Istifanus Akau said the United Kingdom FCDO is determined to ensure 20 million girls are in school and 20 million should  be able to read and write by age 10, and all boys and girls finish Primary school by 2030.

2020 Nigeria Bureau of Statistics NBS report revealed Nigeria has 10.2 million out of school children. The North West has the highest population with Kano, Katsina and Kaduna placing first, second and third with about 988, 234, 58, 800 and 524, 670 respectively.
