Kidnappers of the six school girls and two staff of Engravers College, Kakau-Daji, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna, have withdrawn negotiation for a group ransom.
The bandits now demand ten million naira from each of the parents of the kidnapped school girls and families of the two staff.
The students, their vice principal and matron of the Engravers College were kidnapped last week Thursday from the school premises. The kidnappers had earlier asked for fifty million naira for the students and the two staff of the school.
An official of the school involved in the negotiations said the kidnappers are no longer interested in a collective bargain, as they called individual parents and asked them to pay ten million naira each.
