The Federal Government says it will implement the report on community policing in tackling the activities of terrorists and other security challenges in the country.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, gave the assurance when he received the report of the committee on Strengthening Internal Security Framework and Community Policing in Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.
He expressed happiness that the work done by the committee had covered the issues of policy, institutional and legal frameworks as well as the underlying factors that impede the capacity of security agencies.

Also in his contribution, the Inspector General of Police, IG Abubakar Adamu, appreciated the committee on SISFCP for their speedy works on the policing initiative.
Adamu noted that the report came up with the workable strategies, which according to him, would led to the speedy implementation of the community policing initiative.
