Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi says the government
headquarters is expected to be relocated to the
New Administrative
Capital in 2020 and that it would use modern
systems to reduce human
error.
Al-Sisi made this known at a discussion as part
of the 3rd edition of
the World Youth Forum, which took place in
Egypt’s Red Sea resort city
of Sharm El-Sheikh, titled: “Artificial
Intelligence, AI, and Humans:
Who is in control?”.
Egypt is currently building a new administrative capital city
in the
capital Cairo, which is a new home to most
government buildings
including twenty-nine ministries, the cabinet
and the parliament, as
well as twenty residential neighbourhoods that
can accommodate
six-point-five million people, luxurious hotels,
malls, parks and many
other venues.
In another development, Cameroon has planned tough road safety
measures during year-end festivities, including
the deployment of
additional security forces across the country,
to ensure safety at the
peak of holiday season. Police officers were
also dispatched to work
effectively on travel agencies in order to reduce
over-burdening and
theft because there is high crime wave at the
moment.
