The Federal Ministry of Health , has said that it was ready to partner with individuals and groups to effect an efficient Health Supply Management Chain in the country.

Minister of State, Adeleke Mamora, gave the assurance in a statement issued by the Assistant Director of Press and Publicity of the ministry, Eunice Akro, in Abuja.

Mamora made the statement during a courtesy visit by a team from the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management, Nigeria, led by Country Director, Mike Egboh.

The minister expressed government’s desire for continuous partnership and collaboration with the organisation towards the development, integration and actualisation of the Nigerian Health Supply Chain system.

Earlier, Egboh, Country Director, informed the minister that the GHSC-PSM Nigeria, supported by the Global Fund and managed by Chemonics International commenced health procurement and supply management operations in Nigeria in July 2016.
