The Nigerian Army has arrested a suspected Boko Haram insurgent’s logistic supplier and seized a car stacked with motorcycle used tyres in Borno state.
The Acting General Officer Commanding 7-Division, Brigadier General A.K. Ibrahim, made this known while parading the suspect at the Gubio Super Camp in Maiduguri.
Ibrahim announced that the suspect was arrested by a joint team of troops of Operation Lafiya Dole and personnel of the Nigeria Custom Service while travelling along Baga-Monguno Road.
He said that the troops seized items which included a car, used motorcycle tyres, many new tubes and a number of rubber gum.
The Officer warned people in the area against trading in motorcycles and motorcycle spare parts.
