The Kaduna State Government has revised its 2020-2025 development plans, with focus now on security, infrastructure, economy and social development.
The Commissioner, Planning and Budget Commission Thomas Gyang announced this in Kaduna during a meeting with Civil Society Organisation, CSO to validate the revised development plan formulated with their inputs.
Gyang, who was represented by the Commission’s Director of Planning, Maryam Dangaji, added that the state also included good governance, law and justice as other priority areas.
The Commission said the vision was for Kaduna to be a state with abundant economic opportunities, social inclusion, peace and security, good governance and improved quality of life of the citizenry.
Also the Deputy Director, Planning, Badamasi Musa said the validation meeting was organised for CSOs and stakeholders to confirm that the programmes outlined in the plan reflect citizens input.
On his part, the Co-Chair Mustapha Jumare, commended the state government for engaging citizens in the formulation and implementation of its plans and programmes, to ensure ownership.
