Residents were abducted by suspected bandits, who invaded Jan-Bako town in Maradun Local Government of Zamfara State.
A resident, Ahmad Janbako said the invaders attacked the community late in the night.
He said the bandits attacked the community from every entry point without firing a gunshot, adding they looted shops and carted away food items, other necessities.
According to him, many people, mostly women, and children, were forcefully taken away by the bandits.
