The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF has condemned the renewed killings along travellers at Rukuba Road in Jos, Plateau state.
The Forum’s National Publicity Secretary Emmanuel Yawe expressed the worries of the body in a statement in Kaduna and called the people of Plateau to remain calm.
It also urged religious and traditional leaders to asked their people to exercise restraint and not take the laws in their hands, noting that that no religion, neither Christianity nor Islam, allows its followers to spill innocent blood.
The statement also charged security agencies to take their responsibilities seriously.
ACF however, recalled that there was an attack on over 20 farms in Miango, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state last month in which unknown terrorists attacked and destroyed maize farms.
