The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL has announced Saturday, September 30 as the commencement date for the 2023/24 season.
NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi in a letter, also notified the 20 participating Clubs that the champions of the season would receive 150 million naira, 50 percent increase from last season’s prize money.
Another highlight to the clubs is the payment of start-off grants of a total of 200 million naira to the 20 clubs and also 10 million naira to each club as a take-off grant to smoothen operations as the season starts.
