The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has reappointed Christopher Danjuma as Falconets head Coach.

NFF Executive Committee confirmed Danjuma’s reappointment following the recommendation of its Technical Committee.

The experienced coach led the Falconets to the quarter-finals of last year’s FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup finals in Costa Rica.

The NNF added that Danjuma will be assisted by Mansur Abdullahi, and former Super Falcons’ midfielder Effioanwan Ekpo. Yahaya Audu, who has been goalkeeper trainer of the team, also returns to his position.

The Falconets will commence their 2024 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with a second round, first leg encounter against their counterparts from Mauritius in Saint Pierre on Sunday, 8th October, with the return leg scheduled for the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 14th October.
