The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has discovered counterfeit 20 million dollars along on the Lokoja-Abaji highway.
Spokesman of the Agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement in Abuja, said the fake currencies were recovered from a bus travelling from Lagos to Abuja, during a Stop-and-Search operation.
He explained that the 53-year-old driver of the vehicle, Onyebuchi Nlebedim, was arrested, adding that one Jude Ndubuisi was also arrested in a raid while in possession of 2.2 kilograms of methamphetamine at Kabusa village, Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Babafemi said the suspect was earlier arrested on July 7, for being in possession of 20.75 kilograms of Indian hemp and that he was on court bail when he was nabbed for yet another drug crime.
