The Appeal Court sitting in Kaduna will deliver judgment tomorrow, Thursday, on a suit filed by first and second Appellant, People’s Democratic Party, PDP and its gubernatorial candidate in Kaduna State Isa Ashiru Kudan for refusal of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to allow one of its witnesses who is an expert, to testify.
Though the witness appeared before the governorship election tribunal, but was not allowed to testify by the tribunal; by that single act, the appellant, Isa Ashiru Kudan and the PDP approached the Appeal Court to compel the tribunal to allow the expert to testify.
When the case came up for hearing, counsel to the second defendant Nasiru El-Rufa’i, O. A. Dada and counsel to the third defendant, APC Sharafa Yusuff, in their separate presentation urged the court to dismiss the case.
Earlier, the presiding judge, Justice Adamu Jauro along with four other judges solicited for the counsels’ cooperation towards a speedy dispensation of justice in the matter.
