The Nigerian Air Force NAF has inaugurated the Geo Spatial Intelligence Data Center to address the security challenges in the country.

The centre would deploy state of the art technology including sophisticated and high value computer software to gather and analyse data to produce intelligence in support of NAF and joint operations around the country.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, who inaugurated the facility congratulated the NAF for establishing the center.

He noted that the product of the Centre will not only serve the interest of the Air Force, but the other arms of the armed forces and security agencies in Nigeria.

Olonisakin urged the personnel who would operate, manage and maintain the equipment in the Centre, to be dedicated in their duties.
