North Central Governors have mapped-out plans to tackle common problems facing the zone.
Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, of Plateau State, gave the hint when he received members of the House of Representatives’ Committee investigating an alleged abuse of 2.3 trillion naira, Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETfund funds in Jos, the State capital.
He also told the committee members, led by Unyime Idem, that the forum would be used by the Governors to speak with one voice on their aspirations and challenges, particularly insecurity.
The Governor said they would advocate strongly for the creation of State Police.
Earlier, Unyime noted that there had been concerns that the projects on the ground in tertiary institutions across the country were not commensurate to the funds released for them.
