The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and the Super Falcons set another showdown after the players lamented that they were treated like slaves, following their unpaid bonuses and allowances over the years. This is coming weeks after the conclusion of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand,

The Nigerian ladies had threatened to boycott their opening game at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

They however sealed a pact with the NFF that they would receive a 100 dollars daily camp allowance, a 3,000 dollars win bonus and 1,500 dollars bonus for a draw.

FIFA later announced that each player at the tournament would receive a minimum of 30,000 dollars.

NFF Head of Communications, Ademola Olajire, in Reaction, insisted that all daily allowances had been paid.
