Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a woman, her three children and killed one person in the Mararaban Rido Community of Kaduna State.
Locals said the bandits wielding sophisticated weapons overpowered the local vigilantes, broke into the family house of the victims.
Meanwhile, Kaduna State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident.
In same vein, some Gunmen on Sunday kidnapped 11 people travelling from Onitsha in Anambra State to Makurdi, the Benue State capital along Ogbokolo/Otukpa federal highway.
Among the victims was an employee of the Nigeria Television Authority.
Meanwhile, the management of NTA, Makurdi, confirmed the incident in a letter of complaint to the State Police Command signed by its Zonal Director, Pam Dung Nyam.
